CEC's top priority is identifying the best educational fit for each student. We focus on understanding each student's academic, social, cultural, and financial needs and desires. We provide hours of individual guidance to our students - significantly more than the average 38 minutes provided over four years to most high school students in public schools.
CEC has over twenty years of experience working with and in schools throughout the United States and Europe. Our students have been accepted to a wide-range of "best-fit" schools and colleges all over the world.
CEC spends at least 25% of our time visiting and evaluating campuses to stay knowledgeable and up-to-date. Our in-depth knowledge enables us to tailor a list of schools or colleges for each individual student.
CEC abides by the highest ethical standards and best practices. We do not accept compensation from any school or college in exchange for placement or referral. We are committed to finding the "best-fit" school or college for our students by providing a personalized and structured program that reduces stress.
CEC works with families from all over the United States and world. For students who can't meet in person, we utilize technology (Skype, FaceTime, WeChat, WhatsApp, etc.) to bring our individualized approach to them.
CEC is committed to professional training. We regularly attend conferences and workshops on the latest trends in admission, education, and adolescent behavior.
" Here at Tulane, we very much value the role that independent counselors can play as you generate your college list and navigate the somewhat complex application process. Independent counselors and consultants can provide valuable guidance and support as well as a wealth of knowledge of the application and financial aid process."
Jeff Schiffman, Director of Admissions, Tulane University
"IECA members are unique among independent educational consultants. They offer a level of expertise, competence, and professionalism that has been unequalled since 1976." IECA
"With data driven research, the Salisbury School admissions office has significant evidence that a candidate working with an IECA educational consultant is strongly correlated with a student's success in the admissions process and as a student at our school."
Peter Gilbert, Director of Admission, Salisbury School, CT
